Day 1: Tbilisi City Tour (-/-/-)
Start your journey with a full day sightseeing of Tbilisi city and visit: Holy Trinity cathedral, Sharden street, Sioni cathedra, Erekle II Street w, Bridge of Peace, Narikala fortress, Legvtakhevi area, Sulfur bathhouses. Finish the old city tour at Meidan square.

Day 2: Tbilisi –Mtskheta-Ananuri- Gudauri (B/-/D)
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Mtskheta - ancient capital of Georgia to visit UNESCO sites: Jvari monastery 6th c and Svetitskhoveli cathedral 11th c. A short excursion at Ananuri Architectural Complex 16-17th cc. Arrive in ski-resort Gudauri and have buffet dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Gudauri-Kazbegi – Tbilisi (B/-/-)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day exploration of high Caucasus mountains; Visit top of Mount Gergeti where Holy Trinity Church stands from 14th century. 
In the evening drive back to Tbilisi passing by Gudauri ski resort.

Day 4: Tbilisi-Gori-Uplistsikhe-Borjomi-Akhaltsikhe (B/-/-)
After breakfast drive to Samtskhe. On your way, stop in Gori town, the birthplace of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Explore his house-museum and head to Uplistsikhe cave town, one of the oldest inhabited places on the territory of Georgia dating back to Early Iron Ages. 
Next stop is Borjomi – a town famous for its mineral sparkling water. Here you can taste mineral waters and walk through Borjomi Park. In the evening arrive in Akhaltsikhe town.

Day 5: Akhaltsikhe-Vardzia-Akhaltsikhe(B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit Rabat Castle and have guided excursion in the museum. Then drive to Vardzia – a rock-hewn complex on the left bank of the river Mtkvari. 
Next drive back to Akhaltsikhe.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Tbilisi via lakes Sagamo, Paravani and Tsalka. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 1: Tbilisi

Following a morning pickup at your centrally located Tbilisi hotel, meet your guide at 10am and enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Tbilisi city. Take in top sites of interest including the Bridge of Peace, the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, and Sioni Cathedral, and soak up the atmosphere along bustling Erekle II Street and Sharden Street.

Take the cable car to the 4th-century Narikala Fortress with your guide, and explore surrounding sites such as the 19th-century mosque, the sulphur bathhouses, and the Legvtakhevi waterfall. Then, finish in the Old Town — close to Meidan Square.

Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Ananuri – Gudauri (B, D)

After breakfast at your hotel, visit the ancient settlement of Mtskheta — home to UNESCO World Heritage–listed sites such as the 6th-century Jvari Monastery and 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

Head onward to the Ananuri Architectural Complex with your guide, and delve into Georgia’s 16th- and 17th-century history. Then, continue on to the high-altitude ski resort of Gudauri for a buffet dinner at your hotel.

Day 3: Gudauri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi (B)

Begin your day with breakfast at your hotel, then enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of the High Caucasus mountains. Reach altitudes of 7,857 feet (2,395 meters) on the Cross Pass, and stop along the way to taste the mineral-rich waters and admire the mighty peaks.

Visit the top of Mt. Gergeti — home to the 14th-century Holy Trinity Church — then, in the evening, return back through Gudauri to Tbilisi.

Day 4: Tbilisi – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Borjomi – Akhaltsikhe (B)

Following breakfast at your hotel, explore the town of Gori — the birthplace of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin — in the heart of the Kartli region. Visit Stalin’s house-museum, then learn of Georgia’s Iron Age history at the cave-town of Uplistsikhe — one of the oldest inhabited settlements in the region.

Afterward, continue on to the town of Borjomi — famous for the purity of its mineral waters. Taste the water for yourself and enjoy a walk through the Borjomi National Park. In the evening, arrive into the town of Akhaltsikhe.

Day 5: Akhaltsikhe – Vardzia – Tbilisi (B)

After breakfast, visit Rabat Castle and museum with your guide then explore Vardzia — a rock-hewn complex on the left bank of the Mtkvari River widely considered among the region’s top sites of interest. Initially planned as a town-fortress, the complex became a well-fortified monastery — playing a significant role in the region’s cultural, educational and spiritual life.

When your time in Vardzia comes to an end, return in comfort to Tbilisi.
