2-Night Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento

Your 2-night experience spotlights Italy’s UNESCO-listed Amalfi Coast, considered one of Europe’s most beautiful shorelines, for its steep cliffs and pretty towns.
Spend two nights in charming Sorrento, and during your stay, enjoy an included full-day tour of the Amalfi Coast’s highlights, taking in the postcard-perfect towns of Positano, Ravello and Amalfi. Your tour includes your choice of either 3-star or 4-star hotel accommodation, lunch on your Amalfi Coast tour, two hotel breakfasts, and round-trip hotel-to-hotel transfers in central Sorrento.

Day 1: SorrentoMake your own way to your 3- or 4-star Sorrento tour hotel, or, if you're already in Sorrento, opt for a hotel-to-hotel transfer to start your experience. Then, check in and enjoy what's left of the day as you wish.
Perhaps take a trip to the harbor to absorb the views of the Bay of Naples, or check out top attractions like the Duomo or the Piazza Tasso, Sorrento’s buzzing main square. In the evening, take your pick from the town’s wide array of restaurants for dinner (own expense) to savor local specialities such Sorrento’s version of Neapolitan pizza.

Day 2: Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi – Ravello - Sorrento (B, L)Following breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and settle in to your comfortable, air-conditioned car or minivan for your day’s sightseeing.
As you drive, hear about the Amalfi Coast from your guide and enjoy your first glimpses of this magical chunk of coast as you approach your first stop, Positano. Stop above the town and marvel at the pastel-painted houses that cascade down the cliffs to the sea. Take pictures and then drive along the winding cliff road, absorbing the epic views that unfold at every turn.
Arrive in the town of Amalfi and admire magnificent Amalfi Cathedral, perched above steep steps in the town center. Then, visit the adjoining Cloister of Paradise (own expense) to admire its Moorish-style columns and arcades, many painted with frescoes.
Visit a restaurant for a tasty 4-course lunch, with drinks at your own expense, and then head higher up into the cliffs to the small town of Ravello. Enjoy free time to explore independently, perhaps delving into the cobbled streets and cathedral. Alternatively, enjoy a guided tour of the 13th-century Villa Rufolo (own expense) and its gardens. Wander the terraces and marvel at the views of the cliffs and sea below.
After, return to Sorrento and enjoy a drop-off at your hotel. The rest of the day and evening is yours to relax, explore and enjoy dinner (own expense) as you wish.

Day 3: Sorrento (B)Enjoy breakfast and the best part of the morning at your leisure. Then, end your tour when you check out, or with a convenient hotel-to-hotel transfer in Sorrento if you're staying on in the town.
