After pickup from your hotel, your guide will drive you to the beginning of the trail in the town of Fira. The trail is an old mule path that winds through some of Santorini's most picturesque scenery connecting the towns of Fira to Oia. As you hike along the trail, your guide will depict the history of the trail and make stops for pictures to the most beautiful viewpoints that let you marvel at the white Cycladic chapels, as well as the Aegean Sea and the volcano. The route will pass by Firostefani, the monastery of St. Nicholas, and the charming settlement of Imerovigli. We will make a stop at the chapel of Prophet Elias for a rest and in order to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch featuring cherry tomatoes, bread rusks, cheese, and fresh fruit. Gaze out at the island of Thirasia in the distance as the village of Oia comes into view. Upon arrival at Oia, end your hike with a stroll in the picturesque town with its white washed alleys, colorful cafes and probably some of the best sea views of the island.
