Overview
During this 3-day trip you will have the opportunity to discover different sports on water and land!
Day One:
Pick up at your hotel in San Salvador or airport. Transfer to the mountains of the Flower Route. You start our first day at the canopy of Apaneca, flying through the skies by several zip lines over coffee plantations!
In the morning you will go to Apaneca where you can choose to hike through the coffee farms, geysers and hike up the mountains into a thick cloud forest at 5000 ft. The Flora and Fauna is incredible. Or you can choose to take mountain bike tour that takes you through the cloud forest to the green lagoon (Laguna verde).
Overnight: Hotel Fleur de Lis or similar
Day Two:
Breakfast. You will get up early to drive to the National park “Los Volcanes". Here come together the volcanoes of Izalco, Santa Ana and Cerro Verde. The volcanoes are located within beautiful scenery and have a wide biodiversity. You will be able to spot some 300 year old trees climbing to amazing heights. There are many species of animals living inside the park; among them are many types of hummingbirds and the black birds known as "chara" which feed other birds such as toucans, during their mating season. You will hike up Volcano Ilamatepec (Santa Ana) 2,381 meters above sea level, the tallest volcano in El Salvador. (4 to 5 hours up and down) The volcano has four craters and one of them held a sulfur lagoon. It's most recent eruption was on the morning of October 1st. 2005. You will have a great view to Lake Coatepeque, a beautiful, clean, and sparkling blue crater-shaped lake.
At the end of the day you will drive to the coast and stay at your chosen accommodation.
Overnight: Hotel Eco del Mar or Similar
Day Three:
You will have your first surf class by a professional instructor!
The class is around 1,5 hours at one of El Salvador's well know waves for surfing. After your class, you will have all the time to practice.
If you are up to it you will have a second class in the afternoon (optional).
Your 3-day tour finish with transportation to San Salvador city center or to the airport.
