Imagine your child a chef in Rome!
When in Rome, enjoy a 2.5-hour Kids’ Pizza Making Cass. Explore the ancient Campo de’ Fiori neighborhood and visit an authentic Italian pizzeria, where your child will be a chef for a day! A Pizzaiolo, a traditional pizza maker, will teach your child to prepare pizza the classic Italian way. In his or her own chef’s hat and apron, your child will gather round a big wooden table covered with bowls of pizza toppings. While the children decorate their hats, they’ll hear Italian stories and a maybe a song or two. Then they’ll start to cook.
Picture your child as she learns to measure, mix, knead and roll out her own dough. Watch her choose her favorite toppings and place them onto rich, homemade sauce. While you enjoy antipasti with local cheese, antipasto with salami, prosciutto, bruschetta and wine, your child will be watching her creation go into a big pizza oven.
While the children’s pizzas are baking in the oven, you’ll choose your own pizza feast from the restaurant menu. Perhaps you’ll enjoy a platter of salami, prosciutto ham, mozzarella balls, arancini meatballs and cheese. Your child will savor pizza made by hand and you’ll choose one for yourself from the extensive menu. Maybe it will be margherita (tomato and cheese), mushroom, spicy salami or prosciutto. For dessert, it’s gelato for the children and a memorable Italian dessert for you. Wine or soft drinks round out your remarkable Italian feast.
