Starting in the morning with a pickup from your La Romana hotel, head to Santo Domingo, the oldest city in the Americas, founded in 1498. From the Colonial Zone, the group will tour the main historic sites, such as Santa Maria la Menor Cathedral, the National Pantheon and the Columbus Palace, home of the first governor of Santo Domingo, Don Diego Colón. Please wear appropriate clothing if you would like to visit the cathedral. Enjoy a picturesque, panoramic view of the colonial architecture.
Then, the tour will visit the Three Eyes cave, where three beautiful, underground lakes are surrounded by gardens. After, have lunch at a local restaurant (included).
The group will then be given a bit of free time for shopping until it is time to return to your La Romana hotel.
