2-Day Horseback Riding in Rhodope Mountains from Plovdiv

Day 1: Galabovo (Plovdiv region) – Dedevo (D)
At 9am, you will be met by your car and guide at your hotel in Plovdiv then make your way to Galabovo. Upon arrival, you will walk for about 10 minutes from the village to the starting point of your horse riding tour. After meeting the horses, you will receive some brief instructions. The beginning of the riding route today is via meadows and a plethora of oak trees up into the mountains. After a short rest at Zdravets area, you will continue upwards but along a slighter slope, which is more suitable for trotting and galloping. You will get to experience a few of a horses gait here. Then, you will descend along a path, where you will have to lead the horses. You won’t miss the chance to enjoy the beautiful views revealed along the way. Conclusion of today's ride will be when you reach the villa zone of the village of Dedevo, where you will overnight in a bungalow.

Day 2: Dedevo – Galabovo (B)
After breakfast this morning, you will hop on your horse and make your return to the village of Galabovo but following another route. The riding is more diverse and offers more opportunities for trotting and galloping. Pass through wild forests, where you might have a glimpse of wild animals. At the end, you will bid farewell to the horses that have helped you discover the charm of the Rodope Mountains.
