The archaeological site of Chichen Itza is a must see while in the Mexican Caribbean. The site was named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007. It is one of the representative Maya Culture areas and you'll be able to tour the place and see the main landmarks including the Temple of Kukulcan. Your local, certified guide will explain all the physical, mathematical and astronomical knowledge that the ancient Maya applied in the construction of this majestic Mayan city.
After the tour, you will leave at your leisure to take advantage to buy some crafts at the numerous stalls inside the archaeological site. Leaving the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, you will go to Hubiku the impressive cenote. This majestic and huge underground natural pool will serve to freshen up and get active in contact with nature. After this refreshing swim you will eat a delicious food buffet.
Your tour then continues to the archaeological site of Ek Balam, one of the last cities found and where more mystery hides. It has a main building with other few buildings that can still be climbed to the top so you can enjoy the wonderful views. After this, you'll be dropped-off back at your hotel.
