Multi-Day Trip
Overview
Take a break from Phnom Penh and experience the real Cambodian way of life on this two-day cycling trip to Kirirom National Park. Also known as Happy Mountain, and located just 55mi (88km) south of the city, Kirikom is Cambodia's first national park and home to a rich diversity of wildlife such as elephants, deer, and wild pigs. Once having been King Sihanouk's favourite retreat spot, today the park has become a favorite amongst locals who flock here for the cool, fresh air, and prestine lakes and waterfalls, set amid the elevated pine forests. On this moderate 68mi (110km) cycling adventure, we explore Phnom Penh's peaceful countryside, catch a ride on a unique, locally made bamboo train, and spend a night like the locals in the eco-friendly Chambok, a community of 9 villages located next to Kirirom National Park. Surrounded by stunning nature and lush forests, we experience the locals' way of life and grab a ride on an ox cart transport, learn the art of handicraft, and live agriculturally in a farm - guaranteeing you the real, authentic rural Cambodian experience. This is a 2-day/1-night trip with breakfast - 1, lunch - 2 and dinner - 1 included.
