The beautiful blue water surrounded by nearly 2,000 miles of shoreline makes up Lake Powell. Lake Powell was shaped by the Colorado River with a labyrinth of numerous water-filled canyons. One of these formations is the famous Horseshoe Bend, named after its shape, but remembered by it’s beauty. The finest views are available by an approximate 30 minute fixed-winged airplane flight soaring just above the ancient landscapes. The aircraft is equipped with panoramic windows that enhance photo opportunities and leave you behold the color rich canyon walls, Glen Canyon, Lake Powell and river bend that was carved thousands of years ago.
