Evening Heritage Walk in Narrow lanes of Agra - Very few travelers ever visit the older part of Agra what was once an important trading center of the Imperial capital of the Mughals known for its abundant consumption of commodities and giving gifts on a large scale. An early seventeenth century Persian poem translated Persian scholar Sunil Sharma talks about the flourishing city of Agra: “…the entire capital from seas and mines is put in the shop of one merchant. if there is a buyer, a hundred caravan- loads come out of one shop of his.”
We will take a Rickshaw or Tonga ride to Old Agra to explore hidden alleys. As you enter the lanes of Old Agra you will get to peep inside shops, temples and lives of people to relive the life and times of a city that has an enduring history that predates and goes beyond the glorious era of the Taj Mahal, where it was a prosperous mercantile town during late-Mughal and days of the British Raj

Day 02 Agra / Delhi By: Surface (208 kms / 04 hrs)
Early morning visit Taj Mahal - Taj at Sunrise Sunrise is undoubtedly the best time to avoid the crowds and the heat. As the sun rises and the early morning mists clear, the delicately carved white marble walls of the Taj are slowly unveiled to dazzling effect. This makes visiting Taj at sunrise particularly special. Later visit Agra Fort - Agra Fort- The red sandstone fort as seen today was constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1573 and additions to the building continued till the time of his grandson Shahjahan. The fort has four gates and the one that forms the entrance now is called Lahore Gate. Important buildings are Diwan-i-Am, the Diwan-i-Khas (the Hall of Private Audience), the Khas Palace (the private palace was used by emperor as a sleeping chamber), the Sheesh Mahal (palace of Mirrors), the Shah Jahani Mahal (Shahjahan’s Palace), Jahangiri Mahal (Jahangir’s Palace) and the Akbari Mahal (Akbar’s palace) are the fascinating palaces inside the fort. The pavilion offers a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal. In time pick-up and transfer to Delhi.
