Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Agra by Train + City Tour and 4-Hrs drive to Jaipur (B,L)
Pass By: New Delhi, New Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi 5am Get picked up from your hotel in New Delhi and transfer to the railway station, where you will board the deluxe train to Agra. 6am - The Shatabdi Express (train no. 12002) departs from New Delhi Railway Station. (Breakfast is served on board). 8am - Arrive at the railway station in Agra and be greeted at the main exit gate to board your private vehicle. Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your hotel. 9am - Visit the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife. 11:30am - Visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. 1pm - Take a lunch break at a local restaurant. 2pm - Enjoy some shopping in Agra, which is known for its handicrafts made from marble and soft-stone inlay. 3pm - Then 4-hrs drive to the old walled city of Jaipur. Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city’ is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa-Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. The city's ancient palaces and forts have borne witness to countless royal processions and fabulous splendor.

Day 2: Jaipur City Tour and Train to New Delhi (B,L)
Pass By: Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind, Jaipur, Jaipur District, Rajasthan 8am After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, which used to be the capital of the Kachhwaha clan until Jaipur was made the official capital in 1727. 10am Drive past Hawa Mahal. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, this is one of the most impressive sights in the city. Also visit City Palace, the principle residence of the ruling family and known for its stunning architecture. 11am Visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory raised in the 18th century. Part of it is now converted into a museum. 1pm Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. 2:30pm Indulge in some shopping in Jaipur; the city specializes in hand-woven textiles, precious gemstones, silver jewelry, and blue pottery. 5:20pm After a memorable day, transfer to the railway station in Jaipur for your journey back to Delhi. (Train departs at 5:50pm and dinner is served on board). 10:40pm Train arrives into New Delhi Railway Station, and you will be dropped back at your Delhi hotel soon after.
