Your private driver/guide will meet you at your accommodation in the morning or afternoon and head north to your first stop: a little town called Pueblito Paisa. This cozy replicate of a typical Colombian village sits in the center of the city and affords panoramic views of the Medellin valley.
Have free time to walk around and take photos or grab snacks. Afterward, your guide continues on to downtown Medellin for a visit to Barefoot Park, the Park of Lights (Parque de las Luces), and Botero Plaza featuring 23 bronze statues by Fernando Botero.
Then view Medellin’s most significant structures, such as the 19th-century railway station and Carré building among others in the government center. See the Basilica and architectural gem of St. Ignacious chapel at Loyola Church. Stop by the San Pedro Cemetery Museum for a look at mausoleums of Colombia’s wealthiest families including former presidents, writers, and celebrities.
Throughout the private half-day tour, you’ll sample local fruits and sip tropical fruit juice. Indulge in a meal of your choice; you can select a place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with help from your guide. Finish with drop-off at your Medellin hotel.
