Your trip will start in the morning around 10am and your driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the Salt Mine, where you will meet your guide. Wieliczka salt mine is located about 16 km to the south of Kracow. Wieliczka Salt Mine is a famous landmark on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the only place in the world that has been open from the middle ages until today. Your tours last around 4-5 hours and takes place 135 meters below the ground, there are 800 stairs on descent and ascent is in an elevator. The route is around 2 km long and the temperature inside the mine is around 16° C. The driver will wait for you in the parking place. You will come back to Kraków in the afternoon. Museum is closed on the following dates: 1st of January, first day of Easter, 16th of April and 25th of December.
