7-Day South India Tour to Kochi from Trivandrum

Day 1 : Trivandrum
Pick up from your hotel in Trivandrum and transfer to our hotel for check in and breakfast. At 8:30am take a tour of the city
visiting Napier Museum,Vizhinjam Lighthouse,Agasthya Mala,Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Pazhavangadi Temple. After lunch
drive to Kovalam Beach and see the setting sun. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Trivandrum - Poovar Island
After breakfast leave for the Poovar Island situated in the Arabian Sea. Check into a resort. Stroll around this lovely
island. In the afternoon take a ferry to the Golden Sand Beach. Take a complimentary Ayurvedic massage. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Poovar Island - Kanya Kumari - Kovalam
After an early breakfast take an excursion to Kanya Kumari ( Cape Comorin) . This beautiful place is the southernmost tip of Peninsular
India and at the confluence of Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. See Our Lady of Ransom Church, Mathur Aqueduct,
Vivekanand Rock Memorial and Padmanabhapuram Palace. Take a walk on the beach. After sunset drive 90-km to Kovalam. Relax on
it's magnificent beaches.
Dinner and overnight at Kovalam.
Day 4: Kovalam - Alleppey
After breakfast take a 5-hour drive to Alleppey and check into a houseboat. Cruise through the serene backwaters. Enjoy your leisure
in the houseboat. Dinner and overnight in the houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppey - Thekkady
After breakfast leave for Thekkady on a 3-hour journey. Check into our hotel. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary,Spring Valley Mountain,
Pandikuzhi and Abraham's Spice Garden. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Thekkady - Munnar
After breakfast leave for Munnar, a lovely resort with tea plantations all around. Visit the Echo Point,Eravikulam National Park - home of
the Nilgiri tahr mountain goats. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Munnar - Kochi ( Cochin)
After breakfast leave for Kochi - called queen of the Arabian Sea. Take a tour of the city visiting the Folklore Museum,
the Jewish Synagogue,Ettumanoor Shiva Temple,Vallarpadam Church and Santa Cruz Basilica. Stroll in the colorful market of Cochin
and drive through its beautiful coastline. Dinner before checking into your hotel.
Free drop off at your hotel in Kochi after dinner. End of your tour at Kochi.
