Overview
Day 1: Jeju Island Your guide will meet you at Jeju International Airport to start your tour. From the airport, enjoy the ride to your hotel, where the remainder of the day and evening are yours to spend at your own leisure. Overnight: 4-star Jeju Hana Hotel on Jeju Island or similar Day 2: Hyupjae Beach - Hallim Park – O'sulloc Green Tea Field - Mt.Sanbang Cruise – Cheonjeyeon Waterfall (B, L) After breakfast, head off on a full-day coach tour of Jeju Island’s west coast. Your first stop is Hyupjae & Gumneung Beach. The white sand beach has extra find sand mixed with shells that glitters with silver and the emerald-colored water is crystal clear. Proceed to Hallim Park and O'sulloc Green Tea Field. After having delicious lunch, you’ll get on Mt.Sanbang Cruise with picturesque ocean view of Mt.Sanbang, Brother Island, Hexagon Lava cliff and Dragon Coast which have been designated as Global Geoparks. (Visit Mt.Sanbang Brother Seashore Road or watch Play K-Pop performance at rainy day). Today's last destination is Teddy Bear Museum or Cheonjeyeon Waterfall (Choose one). At the end of your west-coast tour you’ll be returned to your hotel for your evening’s accommodation. Overnight: 4-star Jeju Hana Hotel on Jeju Island or similar Day 3: Horseback Riding – Seongeup Folk Village – Seongsan Sunrise Peak – Manjanggul Lava Tube (B, L) After breakfast at your hotel, start the day with horseback riding experience. (Watch Jeju Horse riding performance at rainy day) Proceed to the traditional world of the Seongeup Folk Village, where Korea’s traditional thatched houses, Confucian temple, mill, fortress and tombstones have been preserved. Here, you’ll also hear Jeju folk songs and other folk entertainment, sample local food and hear the local Jeju dialect. After having lunch, you will watch Woman Diver Show (UNESCO Intangible Cultural Asset). Haenyeo refers to female divers who dive into the ocean water to gather various shellfish, seaweed, etc, without using any underwater diving equipment. When diving underwater, a haenyeo carries only a pair of goggles, a round-ball-like tube to keep her balance, and a basket to put her collections in.(Haenyeo Museum at rainy day) Proceed to the spectacular crater of Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a Jeju symbol and UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. From the top of the island’s largest volcanic rock cone, you’ll be surrounded by the ocean and almost 100 similar rock peaks. End your third day with a stop at the Manjanggul Lava Tube, one of the world’s finest lava tunnels and another UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. From here, you’ll be transferred to Jeju’s airport to catch your flight back to Seoul.
