7-Day Royal Forts and Palaces Tour with Tiger Safari in Ranthambore from Jaipur

On this tour you will discover natural beauty and a great history of Rajasthan. Visit the palaces of Jaipur, lakes of Udaipur, and desert forts of Jodhpur. Bikaner and Jaisalmer are also some of the most popular destinations. Bundi is popular for its forts, palaces and stepwell reservoirs known as baoris. Never miss historic Ranthambore Fort and Ranthambore National Park, one of the largest and most famous national park of India.

Day 1: Jaipur
You will be picked up from your hotel in Jaipur at 7am. You will be transferred to check in and have breakfast in a hotel before starting your excursion to Amer, Jaigarh and Nagargarh Forts. Visit the City Palace housing rare collection of armory, paintings, carpets and silverware. Take a walking tour in the colorful jewelers' bazaar around the Palace of Winds. Later you will return to your hotel for lunch and rest. Afterwards you will be invited to enjoy complimentary Ayurvedic massage and then start heading for Castle Kalwar (approx. 45 mins) for a gala dinner. The special dinner will be hosted by a former General of the Army and his wife. Ask them about local history, culture and food. After the dinner you will return to hotel for overnight rest.

Day 2: Jaipur - Ranthambore
You will check out from your hotel and leave on a 3-hour drive to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary. There you will check in to your hotel and after lunch take an exciting safari in the deep forest of the sanctuary. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ranthambore - Bundi
Early in the morning you will be invited to take one more safari after which you will return to your hotel for breakfast and leave for the beautiful town of Bundi. Check in to Nawal Sagar Palace and enjoy lunch. In the evening, you will see the murals on the fort walls, 84-pillar Chattri, Jait Sagar lake and various stepwells. Come back to the palace for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 4: Ranthambore - Castle Bijaipur
Early morning after breakfast visit the Bijolia Fort and then proceed to Castle Bijaipur - a 16th century castle owned and operated by
a former Royal family. Learn how to tie a colorful safa (turban) for men and how to drape a saree for women. BBQ dinner and overnight stay at the castle.

Day 5: Udaipur
You will leave Castle Bijaipur after breakfast to see Fort Chittorgarh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here you will be taken to Udaipur - one of India's best-known destination. Check in to your hotel for lunch and in the afternoon take a sightseeing tour of the city visiting the old bazaar and gardens in and around the city. Dinner will be at the restaurant overlooking a beautiful lake. Overnight at your hotel in Udaipur.

Day 6: Udaipur - Kumbhalgarh
Take an excursion to one of the most impregnable attractions in India - Fort Kumbhalgarh. En-route visit the ancient, intricately-carved Eklingji Temple. Lunch will be served at Royal Kumbhalgarh Villas owned by a former Royal family. Later you will return to Udaipur for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Udaipur
After an early breakfast you will take a boat ride on the serene lake Pichola and then visit the City Palace and museum to see a rare collection of vintage cars. Return to your hotel for lunch. In the late afternoon, you will take an excursion to Fort Sajjangarh and return to Udaipur for dinner by 8pm. The tour ends in Udaipur. you will be provided with free drop-off to your hotel in Udaipur after dinner for your onward journey.
