7-Day Heritage Tour of South and Central Rajasthan

This amazing tour will take you to Amer Fort, City Palace, Bhangarh Fort, Kishangarh Fort, Temple of Lord Brahma, Lake Pichola, Fort Kumbhalgarh and many more stops in the beautiful state of Rajasthan. Experience overnight stays at some of the most mesmerizing palaces including Phool Mahal Palace. You will also experience a special dinner hosted by a local family on the rooftop of boutique heritage hotel Mahal Khandela in Jaipur. Enjoy folk music and dance while having unlimited drinks, barbecue, and sumptuous buffet dinner. Take delight in
photographing and meeting the rural folk on your journey across this colorful state of India.

Day 1 [B, D]:
Pickup at your hotel in Jaipur at 7am and transfer to the Amer Fort with your guide. Later on visit Nahargarh and Jaigarh Forts. Around 1:30 PM we will take you to check in to your hotel. After lunch at the hotel, you can relax or go for a swim. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, the Palace of Winds and Jantar Mandir. Stroll at the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. Return to your hotel and enjoy BBQ dinner and drinks on the hotel roof-top. After dinner see a puppet show in the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 [B, D]:
After an early breakfast take an excursion to the haunted Bhangarh Fort. Return to the city for lunch at a popular local restaurant. After getting some rest in your hotel, in the late afternoon visit Birla Temple, Albert Hall Museum and Sisodia Rani Garden. Return to your hotel to refresh and proceed to the lovely Castle Kalwar (19 km from Jaipur) for dinner and drinks. See a light and sound show at the castle. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3 [B, D]:
After an early breakfast leave for Kishangarh. The town is located about 100 km away from Jaipur. Check in to the Phool Mahal Palace by the lake. This beautiful heritage property is owned and operated by the royal family of Kishangarh. Visit the Kishangarh Fort and you will see a large number of cannons, horse-drawn carriages and other armory. Located in the fort, there is a studio where artisans are engaged in reproduction on paper and silk miniature paintings of the 16th and 17th centuries. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, take an excursion to Pushkar - the temple town - about 45 minutes drive from your hotel. This town has many sacred ponds. Visit the Temple of Lord Brahma and experience the Hindu religious ritual of worship "aarti" being performed. Return to your hotel dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 [B, D]:
Proceed to the Bassi Fort Palace (approx. 5 hours) and upon arrival check in to the Bassi Fort Palace for lunch. In the late afternoon, visit Chittaurgarh Fort - a marvel of military architecture. Enjoy a BBQ dinner and overnight at the palace.

Day 5 [B, D]:
After breakfast in the early morning leave for Udaipur (approx. 2 hours). Take a boat ride on the beautiful Lake Pichola. Check in to a heritage hotel facing the lake. In the late afternoon, visit the City Palace, Sahelion-Ki-Bari (Garden of the Maidens) and Bajor- Ki-Haveli. Take a complimentary Ayurvedic massage and enjoy folk music and BBQ dinner on the hotel roof-top. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 [B, D]:
In the early morning after breakfast take an excursion to the majestic Fort Kumbhalgarh. Lunch at Royal Kumbhalgarh Villas. Return to your hotel at Udaipur. En-route visit Eklingji Temple. Dinner at the beautiful Amrai. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 [B,D]:
Take a walking tour around the lakes and gardens of Udaipur and visit the Sajjangarh Fort. See a Bollywood film in a theatre before dinner. The tour ends in Udaipur. After the tour is concluded, we will take you back to your hotel in Udaipur.
