The boat takes off on the “Tárcoles River” the most populated crocodile river in the country. Some of them bigger than 25ft long.
Be on the lookout for a variety of exotic birds that populate the mangrove overgrowth, you’ll find Tiger Herons, Scarlet Macaws, White Ibis, Toucans, Spoonbills and more, as well as other species of wild life such as tiger faced crabs and white face monkeys.
The “Crocodile Man” hand-feeds the crocodiles with boat passengers at a safe distance.
Bird watchers come for all over the world to observe the spectacular variety of bird and animals on the Tárcoles River.
The tour is two hours long on a safe boat that takes you down the Tárcoles River. Transportation (within Jaco area) to the boat and a bilingual guide are provided.
