Start your journey at 8:30am from the front of the Columba Hotel on Ness Walk in Inverness. Meet "The man in the Kilt," who will be your driver and guide. Hop aboard a bus that seats 8 people, which has heating and air-conditioning (no WIFI or bathrooms). Enjoy comfort breaks along your journey so that your guide can provide required stops for the restroom.

Travel along the road to the Isles to enjoy some of Scotland’s most beautiful and famous places, such as the mysterious Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle (10 minute stop)  and Eilean Donan Castle (20 minute stop). Witness the famous monster "Nessie" and wildlife along the way and  potentially spot deer, wild goats and an osprey or an eagle.

Next, head over the sea to the Isle of Skye by crossing over the beautifully designed Skye Bridge, which opened in 1995. Take in the most breath-taking scenery and landscapes that has gained the Isle of Skye it’s notoriety all over the world. Travel through the Cuillin Mountain Range as you explore the dramatic and ever changing backdrop so heavily influenced by the unpredictability of the weather.

Visit the picturesque harbour town of Portree, and perhaps enjoy a wonderful fresh seafood lunch  (1-hour stop) or stroll along the 19th century pier designed by one of Scotland’s most renowned Civil Engineers, Thomas Telford. After lunch we head back to the beautifully designed Skye Bridge (20 minute stop) for a view over to  Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin.

Heading back over the bridge  you will visit Kyle of Lochalsh (20 minute stop). Moving on you will view  the legendary and dramatic peaks of the Five Sisters of KintaIl (10 minute stop) and then immerse yourself into the emotive and atmospheric Glen Shiel, remembered for where a  Jacobite battle was fought against the British Government in 1719.

Finally we will say hello to Morag, Mhairi and the rest of the Highland Cows.

Our guide will drive you back to Inverness safely (approximately 4:30 pm).
