From Interlaken, a town in central Switzerland between the lakes of Brienz and Thun, you will drive to Lake Thun via the small old minicity (founded in the middle ages) and stop for 15 minutes beside Neuhaus, a nice beach approximately 10.5-mile-long (17 km). Here you will be able to take panoramic pictures, drink a coffee/tea, or eat ice cream (own expense) .
You will then continue our short sightseeing tour via the villages Matten and Bönigen. On the way you can take memorable pictures of the old, charming Swiss chalets and the cows.
Finally we will go to the beach of Lake Brienz in Bonigen. Enjoy the Eastern view of the 9-mile long (14 km) Brienz Lake, nestled between the panoramic mountains. Be sure to take pictures of the breathtaking scenery while on your break.
After the last ice age, approximately 10,000 years ago, Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and Interlaken were all part of the former ancient lake Wendelsee, which was almost 37-miles-long (60 km).
You will be returned to your original departure point when your sightseeing tour has concluded.
