Overview
1 Day: Huaraz - Cashapampa – Llamacorral
Leave Huaraz at 7am to the trail head Cashapampa 2900masl, meet our donkey drivers and then we will start hiking.
Camp at Llamacorral at 3800masl.
2 Day: Llamacorral – Taullipampa
Hike by the beautiful lakes Ichicocha and Jatuncocha, go up to the Alpamayo south base camp, then continue to the camp place Taullipampa 4200masl.
3 Day: Taullipampa – Tuctupampa
Start hiking to the PuntaUnion Pass 4750 masl. Nice views descent to camp place Tuctupampa 4200masl camp.
4 Day: Tuctupampa – Quisuar
Hike up to Pucaraju pass 4640 masl. Descend to Quisuar, where we will camp in the left side at 3900masl.
5 Day: Quisuar – Jancapampa
Start hiking up to Tupatupa pass 4360masl then place at Jancapampa 3600masl overnight.
6 Day. Jancapampa – Huillca
Start hiking early to get the Yanacon pass 4610, go down to the camp place Huillca overnight at 4000masl. camping.
7 Day: Huillca – Caracara
Walk to first pass Mesapata 4460masl. Then Caracara pass 4830masl going down faced to Alpamayo north face, then camp at Jancarurish 4200masl facing at Alpamayo’s north face.
8 Day: Jancarurish Rest Day
Rest day walk to base camp of Alpamayo north side, return to camp overnight at 4200 masl.
9 Day: Jancarurish – Osoruri
Walk until Ruinapampa, start walk-up zigzag path get the Ichicvientona pass 4770masl, then descent to the camp place of Osoruri overnight at 4650masl.
10 Day: Osoruri – Calamina
Walk up to Jatunvientona pass 4860 masl, beatuful blue lake of Cullicocha in the base of Santa Cruz massif, go down to camp of Calamina 3650masl. camping.
11 Day: Calamina - Hulcayan – Huancarhuaz
Last hiking day, arrive to Hualcayan, get early to Huancarhuas Hot springs at 2850masl. aboard the bus arrive to Caraz 2293masl, then continue driving Huaraz arriving at 4pm aprox.
Leave Huaraz at 7am to the trail head Cashapampa 2900masl, meet our donkey drivers and then we will start hiking.
Camp at Llamacorral at 3800masl.
2 Day: Llamacorral – Taullipampa
