Day 1: Hoi An – Hue
We will begin our two-day tour by picking up guests from their hotel and going to Da Nang where we will visit Marble Mountain (Vietnamese: Ngu Hanh Son; literally "five elements mountains”). Here, you will discover the stunning natural caves, enjoy the beautiful view from the top of the mountain, find solitude in mysterious pagodas and visit the sculpture village. Next, you will go to Am Phu Cave where there's a replica of heaven and hell, eerie underground tunnels while listening to the clapping of bats' wings in the cave. After lunch, we will visit Da Nang museum which have the rich local history and culture. Then, visit the Cham Museum which displays the most complete collection of rare and priceless artifacts of the Cham culture. We will then depart for Hue, along the North coast of Da Nang to the top of Hai Van Pass where bunkers remaining from the war can be explored.
Day 2: Hue – Hoi An
Start the day with a delicious breakfast before visiting the Citadel, the most prominent tourist attraction Hue has to offer: including the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor’s Private Residence. After the trip to the Citadel, we will have lunch and later in the afternoon, visit Thien Mu pagoda, considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. Next, we will visit Khai Dinh Tomb. We will end the afternoon with a visit to the vibrant Dong Ba Riverside Market.
