Day 1: Hoi An to Ba Na (L,D)
Your day will begin with departure for Ba Na. The city is 4,878 feet (1,487 meters) above sea level, and known as the second Da Lat or Sapa of Vietnam. The weather here is idyllic and it is said you can feel all four seasons within a day. Not many places in Vietnam can make this claim, making it a must-visit on the tourist circuit.
Upon arrival, you'll have time enjoy this hilltop city's panoramic views and possibly be greeted by its resident monkeys. You can also take a cable car to the summit of a nearby mountain, where you can explore Linh Ung Pagoda, Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak and Vong Nguyen Hill. After lunch, enjoy a hike to the peak summit where you can enjoy the views of nearby Da Nang and the surrounding mountains. The night will finish with dinner and an overnight stay in Ba Na.
Day 2: Ba Na - Hoi An (B,L)
Day two will begin with a delicious breakfast and a visit to an old French underground wine cellar. The French provided heavy influence on Vietnamese culture during the colonial period, and this French-inspired wine cellar is still used today to distill alcohol. After the trip to the wine cellar, you will check out of your hotel and return to Hoi An.
