3-Day Tour of the Mekong Delta from Ho Chi Minh City

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Rustic Lodge in Cai Be (. /L/D)
You will be picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 9:00am and we will then transfer to Binh Phu Intersection (Cai Lay Province). You arrive in Binh Phu after two-hour driving at about 11:00am. You continue cycling for 10km and take a Tan Phong – Hiep Duc river ferry to reach Tan Phong Island Resort. Check in your room and enjoy lunch with local foods. After a short rest when finishing lunch time, you will join the cycling tour to discover Tan Phong Island at 1:30pm. You drop in a local’s house to visit their vegetable and fruit gardens. Afterwards, you will definitely enjoy time catching fish with your hands in the small canals. Particularly lucky tourists, who succeed in catching fish, can be offered the grilled-fish there. When the sun sets, you come back to Mekong Rustic Lodge at about 6:00pm. Dinner will be served after you finishing the cooking course of making some local foods.
Day 2: Cai Be Floating Market – Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre (B/L/D)
Waking up in the morning to enjoy the fresh air of the resort and have breakfast at 7:30am. You will get on the boat to the Cai Be Floating Market to experience the river life of Mekong people at 8:00am. When the boat travels along the Mekong River, you can observe the daily activities of people living on river banks. Following, you will transfer to the rowing boat for visiting the Mekong canals and then continue to bike to visit Cao Dai temple, inland market and local ancient house. You continue to pass Cai Be – Tan Phong local ferry to Tan Phong Island and have lunch with local people in Mekong Rustic homestay. Lunch is served with local cuisine. In the afternoon, you continue to bike on back road and visit kinder garden then visit local house and learn how to make jackfruits leafs cake and passing through the bonsai road. Continue to pass Phu Phung ferry before cycling to Ben Tre Province, where you will take a visit to the Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre. Have dinner and stay overnight at Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre.
Day 3: Mekong Rustic Lodge in Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/.)
In the morning, you will cycle to local market, visiting local pagoda and discovers more local people life. Have lunch with local food, check out and back to Ho Chi Minh City by bus. Arrive to Ho Chi Minh City at around 6:30pm.
