Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (L)
Meet a driver at your hotel between 7:30 am and 8am, then depart for Cai Be, where you'll board a boat to Cai Be floating market. Next, visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and popped rice are made. You'll also take a short row on a small sampan, enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, and take a break for lunch in a peaceful garden.
In the afternoon, cruise towards Vinh Long and visit a local pottery factory, then head to Can Tho for check in at a four-star hotel.
Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Saigon (B,L)
Check out early in the morning for a cruise along the Mekong River to Cai Rang floating market, where you'll join a bustling crowd of local vendors and farmers.
Next, take a peaceful bike ride along countryside paths, passing a series of "monkey bridges," slender bamboo bridges that locals use to cross canals. You can also take a walk through the farms and houses of a nearby village to see tropical fruit orchards, or pause for a cup of tea with the locals. Visit a fascinating Khmer pagoda, pause for lunch, then begin the return trip to Saigon, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel at roughly 5pm.
