Located in Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple is widely considered the most beautiful in the city!After visiting this legendary temple, we will head to the memorial of Thich Quang Duc. Next we will head back to the city center to visit the the fascinating War Remnants Museum. This will be an emotionally hard-hitting experience given the graphic content of the museum. Yet, it will be a valuable stop for anybody wishing to learn more about different perspectives surrounding the Vietnam War and its continuing effects today.
After the museum, we’ll take a well earned rest and enjoy a delicious lunch at Banh Xeo 46A. This set menu will include Southern Vietnamese classics such as bánh xèo, spring rolls, bánh hỏi with grilled pork in garlic plus more! After we’ve fuelled up on these delicious local dishes, it’s off to our first stop of the afternoon which will be the Reunification Palace. Here you’ll learn all about its important place in Vietnamese history.
Our next stop will be the famous Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Your knowledgeable guide will explain all the history behind these two incredible buildings. Next, we’ll head to the historic CIA building where the last U.S Helicopter flew out of Saigon in 1975. You’ll learn all about the story of the last U.S Operation, Frequent Wind. Then we’ll drive you past more HCMC highlights: Opera House, Hotel Continental, Rex Hotel, City Hall and mighty Bitexco.
We’ll finish our tour by heading to the beautiful Mong Eiffel bridge. Here you’ll get an incredible view of the whole city including the beautiful Saigon River. After the last stop we will either drop you back at the Ben Thanh market to complete some shopping or get you safely back to your hotel in the comfort of our private vehicle. The choice is yours!
