Itinerary

Day 1: Mai Chau Valley - Lac Village; Thai and Muong Ethnics (-/L/D)

Stop At: Lác Village Mai Châu
We will pick you up at your hotel for departure to Mai Chau located in Hoa Binh Province, approximately 135 kilometers from Ha Noi. We will zigzag along Cun Slope 12 kilometers through Cao Phong District to the Mai Chau Valley. From the top of Cun Mountain, you can admire the superb panoramic view of Mai Chau surrounded by its green valleys and stilt houses. Mai Chau is the home of many minorities, including White Thai Ethnic Group. Enjoy a traditional lunch and if you are game, have a taste of the country’s finest rice wine with a local family. Afterward, we will take a bicycle trip around the village to see farmers working in the fields and the locals weaving scarves. We will also visit the tranquil surrounding villages to experience the rustic life of these mountainous people. You will enjoy dinner at a local family and enjoy a drink of traditional alcohol known as Ruou Can and unique artistic performances of ethnic Thai and Muong residents of mountains of Mai Chau. Overnight in stilt houses in Lac Village.

Day 2: Poom Cong Village - Chieu Cave - Ha Noi (B/L/-)

Stop At: Lác Village Mai Châu
The early morning is the most peaceful time to walk around the village and see the sunrise over the beautiful mountains. Following breakfast at Lac Village, we will walk about 7 kilometers to Poom Cong Village and Chieu Cave. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Valley Of Mai Chau. Have lunch and relax before heading back to Ha Noi.
