Day 1: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park (L/D)
Start your day with a 7.30am pickup from your central Hanoi hotel and set out a scenic drive to the Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam's first national park. The first stop of the day is the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, and conservation of endangered primates as well as the protection of their habitats. Spend the morning exploring the center and getting up close to native wildlife such as gibbons, langurs, and lorises.
After lunch, continue to the Park Center, stopping en-route to visit the Cave of Early Man, an amazing historic find, dating back over 7000 years. Then, follow your guide on a trek through the forest to learn about the diverse plant and animal life in the park. Along the way, stop at Cho Chi, the oldest tree in the forest, as well as several picturesque streams and waterfalls.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park - Tam Coc (Three Caves) – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast, head to Tam Coc to explore the UNESCO-listed landscapes on a scenic 2-hour boat cruise. Glide along the river past lush rice paddies, towering limestone mountain peaks, and dramatic natural caves.
Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant, before setting out on the return journey to Hanoi. Along the way, pay a visit to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, where the highlights are a pair of temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le.
Your tour ends with drop-off at your Hanoi hotel in the late afternoon.
