We're sorry, this tour or activity is not available for selected date.
Day One: We depart from 266 George Street in Glasgow at 7am and make our way up to Fort William. On this journey we will pass by the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond where we will have a comfort stop at Inveruglas which has fantastic views of the Loch. We will then continue our journey making more photo stops at Loch Tulla and Glencoe whilst hearing about the area's history and points of interest. En the route to Mallaig you will see the breathtaking scenery of Loch Shiel and Loch Nam Uamh. You will also see the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie. Once at Mallaig, we will have some lunch together in one of the wonderful cafes. A personal favourite for us is the fish and chips which we eat on the pier. We will then catch the ferry to Skye. Once on Skye, we will bring you to your accommodation where you can relax after a very busy day touring. (Suggested accommodation anywhere in Portree).
Please note for those taking the Jacobite Steam Train (in the summer season and not included in tour price), you will need to purchase your tickets in advance. You will be dropped off at 10am at Fort William and meet the tour again at Mallaig.
Day Two: We will collect you from your accommodations and will advise the pick up times the day before as not everyone will be at the same place. We will then enjoy a full day touring to Dunvegan Castle (not included and in Summer Timetable only), Talisker Distillery for a quick stop and tasting (not included) and then on to the Fairy Pools and Neist Point. There are several options for lunch on this route but a real favourite is the Oyster Shack by Talisker distillery. We will then all make our way back to your accommodations where the day will end.
Day Three: We will check out early of your accommodation (again to be determined based on where you are staying) and continue on a morning tour of Skye which includes photo opportunities at the Old Man of Storr, Lealt Falls, Kilt Rock and the Quiraing. If we have time, we will also continue towards Uig where you can enjoy a wee tipple at the Skye Brewery and a wee trip to the Fairy Glen. We will then return to Portree where you can enjoy some lunch and some free time to shop or just enjoy the quaint streets. We will then make our way to Inverness passing Fort Augustus which has fantastic views of Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. We will then drop you off at your Inverness accommodations where the day will end.
Day Four: Check out of accommodation (to be defined) and enjoy a morning Loch Ness Cruise (not included) which ends at Urquhart Castle which you can enjoy a tour around. We will then make our way back towards Inverness making a stop at the Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield where you will enjoy a tour. This is also a great place to have a quick lunch. We will then continue onward to Glasgow making a rest stop at Pitlochry. We should arrive back in Glasgow for around 8pm.
