Discover for yourself the best of Europe with this 21-day multi-country tour, exploring the uniqueness of 11 European countries including must-see historical sights in 26 of their famous cities.

Start week 1 (the Blue line tour) discovering the medieval city of Prague and enjoy views of the magnificent castle and St. Martin's Cathedral in Bratislava. Explore Budapest next and see its unique wonders such as the Fisherman's Bastion (entrance ticket at your own expense) in Buda and Hungary's Parliament Building in Pest. Visit Vienna, your next stop and see the Austrian capital's beautiful historical sites. In Salzburg you'll be introduced to the city's highlights, such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthplace (entrance ticket at your own expense). Be charmed by the Swiss Alps and Mt. Titlis (entrance ticket at your own expense), in the city of Lucerne see the famous Lion Monument, and witness the beauty of Lake Zurich, the Rhine Falls and Lake Titisee.

In week 2 (after transferring to the Red line tour) you will be visiting the birthplace of composer Ludwig Van Beethoven in Bonn. Get to see the Gothic Cathedral in Cologne and the Zaanse Schans open air Museum in the Netherlands. Next your journey will take you to the vibrant city of Amsterdam with its Royal Palace and Dam Square. Continue to discover Brussels and see the Atomium monument and the legendary Manneken Pis statue. With two days in Paris you will have the chance to explore the city's breathtaking sites including a visit to Versailles, the Louvre art museum (entrance tickets at your own expense) and extra time for some shopping. Your journey continues (after transferring to the Green line tour) from Paris to the Swiss Alps. Enjoy the picturesque city of Lucerne with its Chapel Bridge and Water Tower. Visit Milan next, the fashion capital of Italy and discover Verona afterwards where you can visit the famous Juliet's balcony.

In your third week, you will start off the day exploring the magical city of Venice, by taking a boat ride to the beautiful San Marco Island and start your next day with a visit to Vatican City in Rome where you will be exploring St. Peter's Basilica and the many historical landmarks such as Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum (entrance ticket at your own expense) and Arch of Constantine. Discover Florence, see Pisa's famous Leaning Tower and soak up the beauty of Monaco, Nice and Cannes, followed by a relaxing and scenic journey to Paris. Visit France's Champagne region of Reims (after transferring to the Red line tour) where you will see the city's historic cathedral. Your next stop is the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg followed by a stop in the German city of Trier to see the famous Karl Marx House Museum and the Porta Nigra. Finish your Best of Europe tour in Frankfurt am Main, after exploring Römerberg Plaza.

  • Food & drinks, unless specified. On days where meals are not included, the tour manager will offer assistance with reservations and directions to local/service station restaurants and cafés.

  • Any additional excursions, activities or shows not included in the itinerary or those included but as mentioned, will be at your own expense.
  • Single supplement fee of €30 per night (€50 from February 2018 onwards) for people travelling on their own (groups of odd numbers: 3, 5, 7 will need to book a single room because we do not arrange triple rooms). 
  • Personal expenses, alcoholic drinks (available to purchase).
  • City entrance fees and taxes totaling €55 pp to be paid in cash directly to the tour manager whilst on tour.
  • During the UEFA European Championship in France from 5 June-15 July 2016, pre and/or post tour hotel will not be available. All overnight tour hotel in Paris ONLY excludes a surcharge of €25 pp/pn.

  • Confirmation will be received within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability
  • Itinerary changes effective 1 April 2016. The tour (Green line) will no longer include a visit to Verona, you will have more free time in Milan for sightseeing, shopping or sampling the local Italian cuisine. After visiting the Coliseum in Rome, a new program offers you the option to either visit the magnificent Basilique Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri near Piazza della Repubblica or do a bit of shopping at the Mitsukoshi Department store.
  • From mid-March to mid-May the tour (Red line) will also visit Keukenhof Garden (entrance ticket at your own expense), a 32 hectare seasonal exhibition of beautifully colored and scented displays of spring flowers - most notably millions of tulips.
  • During the UEFA European Championship in France from 5 June-15 July 2016, pre and/or post tour hotel will not be available during this period. All overnight tour hotel in Paris ONLY excludes a surcharge of €25 per person per night (children 2-11 sharing a room with two adults with no extra bed, will not have to pay the surcharge).
  • Passport name and number, gender, date of birth and nationality are required for all passengers; please advise at the time of booking.
  • Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children (2-11) must share a room with two adults and will not be considered for extra bed requests, will occupy a seat on the coach.
  • Child prices only apply if there are 2 adults. In the case of 1 adult and 1 child you will need to book for 2 adults.
  • Infants (aged under 2) are free of charge, will not occupy a seat on the coach.
  • Triple room will no longer be available from 1 April 2016. Single supplement of €30 per night applies to one adult who will be accommodated in a single room.
  • Not wheelchair accessible.
  • It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure that they comply with all the necessary passport (must be valid for at least 6 months), visa, health, insurance and other travel regulations required for all the countries they will be visiting prior to the start of the tour.
