Twentieth century was a period that saw Florence as one of the most flourishing centers of the world. In the museum of the 900 all the paintings, sculptures and video documents concern an unrepeatable period from the artistic point of view.
The museum houses 300 works in 15 modern exhibition rooms made respecting the old Renaissance complex of Michelozzo, Medici architect. A tour is a journey back from the most recent works up to those of the early '900 and unbelievably the atmosphere has been recreated so to as much interactive experience in any context in which the works were born: music, cinema and literature.
Some prominent names to the museum: Giorgio De Chirico, Giorgio Morandi, Emilio Vedova, Guttuso and Maurizio Nannucci. Three hours of total immersion in the best expression of the twentieth century Florentine and Italian with a proessional local guide in modern and contemporary art.
