Adventure in Saklikent Gorge and Ancient City Tlos

You will leave the hotel at morning hours and you will head to the Fethiye region, where Tlos city ruins are located. Situated picturesquely on mountainsides it will reveal the secrets of the ancient life of Lycian people.  You will go a little up the mountain to get to the highest point of the city – acropolis. This is where you will have the view of the entire city: Roman baths, huge stadium. And on the mountainsides in stones, you will see rock cut tombs – the symbol of Tlos.
You will have a lunch near  Tlos, in a trout farm. Trouts are even swimming here through the bar. Around there is park full of ducks. Your lunch  will be served in sultan arbors, where you can lay on sofas before or after meal in a comfortable way.
Then you will go by bus around 20 minutes to the Saklikent canyon. You will enter the canyon on special bridges outspread over the river that is cutting across the canyon. You will walk between steep rock walls of the canyon until finally you reach the shore of the river. To get to the further part of the canyon you will have to cross  the river (about 30m). All that is needed is to fold the trousers up to your knees and try to overcome the river. If you don't wish to cross the stream, you may comfortably take a seat in the cafe by the river. Then there is practically dry land and views like from a tale. The rocks of the gorge are extremely steep, and the sides washed out with water are creating wavy shapes. As we will be getting to the end of the canyon the route gets more narrow. You will come back to the starting point the same way, and  full of memories you will go back to the hotel.
