Day 1         Litchfield National Park – Mary River (L, D)
Welcome to Darwin! This morning, meet your local driver/guide and board your luxury 4WD vehicle to begin your discovery of the Top End. Travel across the Finniss River to Litchfield National Park, and then enjoy a swim at Florence Falls and visit Wangi Falls before stopping for lunch. Prepare to travel on a cross-country journey on the unsealed Marrakai Track (seasonally accessible), to the Mary River region. Late afternoon, arrive at Wildman Wilderness Lodge, where you’ll stay in private permanent safari tents. Situated on the Mary River Wetlands and renowned for its incredible wildlife, the property seamlessly combines comfort and chic with the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Enjoy a beverage while the sun sets over the floodplains and after dinner maybe sit back with a nightcap by the fire pit.

Day 2         Mary River - Kakadu (B, L, D)
Head to Corroboree Billabong and enjoy a wildlife cruise. Join local Scotty Mac on his safari boat to see a myriad of bird species, spot estuarine crocodiles, and enjoy the stunning Mary River floodplains. Next is Australia’s World Heritage-listed and largest national park – Kakadu. Visit park headquarters at the Bowali Visitor Centre, and then check in to your hotel. Relax and unwind with a dip in the hotel’s pool or wander through the on-site art gallery before joining your guide on a sunset walk at Ubirr rock art site. See ancient rock art and take a walk to discover views over the surrounding wetlands and escarpments from Nadab Lookout. An Ubirr sunset is something that has to be seen to be believed – you will remember it forever. Return to your hotel for a delicious dinner.

Day 3         Kakadu – Katherine Gorge (B, L, D)
If you like, take an early morning scenic flight over Kakadu and Arnhem Land (additional expense). This morning, visit Nourlangie Rock to view fascinating Aboriginal rock art.
