Overview
Day One
Meet and Greet at Christchurch International Airport and transfer to your Christchurch central city hotel, the remainder of your day and evening at leisure.
Day Two
Visit the beautiful unspoiled old French whaling depot of Akaroa. A charming small township nestled in a bay of Akaroa Harbour on Banks Peninsula. The township contains a host of historic buildings, craft and gift shops together with a multitude of idyllic photo opportunities, with time to explore and enjoy the charm and serenity of Akaroa.
Lunch in the naturally picturesque setting of Akaroa Village at the popular Bully Hayes. In the afternoon enjoy the Akaroa Harbour Cruise, exploring the Harbour sighting dolphins, penguins and seals.
On your return journey to Christchurch a stop will be made at the Barry’s Bay Cheese factory, where you will get to sample some fine New Zealand cheese.
Day Three
Morning at leisure. Tour will conclude at the hotel upon check out.
