Your private guide and driver will pick you up from the lobby of your downtown Chongqing hotel and drive to Chongqing Zoo with a glance of local life in the morning. First, you will visit the panda house to watch those adorable pandas eating their bamboo breakfast, climbing trees, and playing. Later, drive along the Yangtze River to Ciqikou ancient town to take a stroll around this 1,000 year old town with shops selling unique handicrafts and local snack. Take a seat at a the local tea house and watch the Face Changing Show of Sichuan Opera while sipping on a cup of local tea. There is also an option for you to paint your face and dress up like a character in Sichuan Opera for photo taking with extra cost.
After a Chongqing cuisine lunch, you will move on to People’s Square to have a look at the town hall and visit Chongqing Three Gorge Museum; however, if you are more interested in Sino-Japanese war history, you could visit General Joseph W.
