3-Day Nan Loop Motorcycle Tour from Chiang Mai

Early morning meet and greet at your accommodation in Chiang Mai. We will provide the tour briefing, and then your riding gear and bike. We will inform you briefly of local history, geography and acknowledge any personal requirements. Lastly we have a general Q&A opportunity for any concerns you might have related to the tour.
Day 1. Chiang Mai – Nan (232miles or 373 kms.)
Familiarize yourself with the bike while heading north of Chiang Mai. You will ride on the windy mountain road to Than Tong waterfall and Mae Kachan hot spring. Continue on true bikers paradise roads until you reach Phayao. Overview from top of the hill Phayao lake (Kwan Phayao) one of the largest lakes in Northern Thailand. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Ride the exhilarating, mountainous highway No. 1148 to Nan, ranked in the Top 10 as one of the most fun biking roads to be found anywhere in the world. 120 kms. of up and down curves through the impressive mountains providing you with pure riding pleasure. Visit Wat Phra That Khao Noi (Nan hilltop scenic temple) before relaxing in your lovely accommodation and jump in the swimming pool.
Day 2. Nan – Phrae (175miles or 281 kms.)
After breakfast, we leave Nan riding through winding mountainous roads. We then take the motorbikes on a wooden ferry across the Sirikit Dam reservoir. Sirikit Dam is the largest earth dam in Thailand. It´s used for irrigation, fisheries, flood control and as well as hydro-electric power generation. Lunch is served at Sirikit Dam. Then we continue on the highway passing through rice fields until we reach charming Phrae. It is a small city near Lampang and a few kilometers away from Denchai. Very few tourists come here to visit the area, but Phrae city and its surroundings worth to come. If you want to see authentic Thailand, the one not many tourists see, you definitely have to come here. Later you enjoy the beautiful accommodation with swimming pool.
Day 3. Phrae – Chiang Mai (130miles or 208 kms.)
After breakfast, we leave Phrae cruising along rice fields to Den Chai. Then riding through winding mountainous roads to Lampang. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Visit the Thai elephant conservation center and world´s first elephant hospital. Continue riding, passing through national parks and farming areas. Visit local market, stopping for refreshment, before heading back to Chiang Mai.
