Free hotel pickup and drop-off included
Pack a long-sleeved T-shirt, towels, and biodegradable sunscreen. Don your swimsuit and comfortable shoes and be ready for pickup at your hotel at 7am. Head to Marina La Amada for a light breakfast of coffee, juice, water, fruit, and sweet rolls as you listen to a certified guide tell you all about the whale shark, which, despite its name, is a docile creature. Depart the marina at 8am towards the whale shark feeding area in the surrounding waters of Isla Contoy. Once you find them, you will have the unique opportunity to snorkel nearby the biggest fish in the world. Slip into the water with your guide and observe these graceful, one-of-a-kind creatures in their native habitat. Then head to the coast of Isla Mujeres, enjoy lunch on board, swim in the crystal-clear waters or walk up onto the beach. At around 1:30pm, you will be back at the mainland marina to be transferred home to your hotel. Use of snorkel equipment, breakfast, lunch, and round-trip transportation from Cancun or Riviera Maya hotels are included.
