Your professional driver/guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. You will start the day by driving in the heart of the city of Cairo in Tahrir square (also known as Liberation Square). Visit the Egyptian museum which contains the largest depository of Egyptian antiquities. It now contains more than 120,000 pieces.
Among its treasures is the funeral collection of Tut Ankh Amun discovered in 1922. There were more than 3500 pieces of which 1700 are exhibited in the museum including the golden throne and the golden mask. Then you will drive to the citadel which was built by Saladin in 1176 to visit the mosque of Mohamed Ali, known as the alabaster mosque, and then Khan El Khalili market with its medieval atmosphere.
Then you will drive to The Nile Corniche, one of the most beautiful river front areas in the world. You will ride on the Felucca (sailing boat) for one hour, stroll in the fresh air and see Cairo tower. After, enjoy a traditional meal of Kushari. You will be transferred back to your hotel to end the tour.
