Day 1: Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov - Sighisoara
After morning pickup from your Bucharest hotel, you'll travel to the mountains where your first visit will be at Peles Castle in Sinaia, former summer residence for the royal family and one of the most spectacular castles in Europe.
Next, you'll travel to Bran to visit Bran Castle (Dracula's Caslte) an intriguing 13th century hilltop fortress, famously associated with Bran Stoker's classic myth of Count Dracula of Transylvania.
Your next stop is in Brasov, which offers a perfect mix of wonderful mountain scenery and medieval history with German influences in the old town. You will admire the best of Brasov in a walking tour of the Main Square, the Old Council Hall, the Black Church (Biserica Neagra), the medieval walls, and defense towers.
From Brasov, you'll continue to Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful medieval citadels in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the evening in a 3-star hotel in Sighisoara.
Day 2 | Sighisoara - Sibiu - Bucharest
After breakfast in the hotel, it’s time to explore the impressive medieval fortress of Sighisoara on a walking tour: The Clock Tower, The Church on the Hill and Dracula’s House are highlights of the guided stroll.
Next, you'll discover one of the most important and beautiful cultural centers in Romania - Sibiu. This amazing medieval city in the heart of Transylvania was one of the largest and wealthiest strongholds in Europe and, nowadays, is a city of art and culture that has the power to fascinate. In the walking tour in the old center you will admire: The Big Square, The Liars Bridge and The Clock Tower. After Sibiu, you'll travel back to Bucharest.
