Discover Paris, France's City of Lights, and Versailles, home to Louis XIV's magnificent palace, on this weekend tour from Brighton by air-conditioned coach. On Friday, you'll travel overnight by coach and either ferry or Eurotunnel, arriving in Paris in time for a breakfast stop where you can also freshen up. Saturday begins with a tour of some of the iconic Paris sights (admission not included), before you check in to your hotel in the afternoon, followed by an evening illuminations tour. On Sunday, head to Versailles, where you'll visit a traditional Sunday market and have the chance to visit the UNESCO-listed Palace of Versailles with its magnificent gardens (tickets can be purchased on arrival). Then it's back on the coach for the journey back to Brighton, arriving late on Sunday night.
Friday: Brighton - Paris
After meeting your guide at Brighton Station at 9:30pm, travel overnight to the wonderful city of Paris by coach and ferry or Eurotunnel, departing from Dover in the early hours of the morning. From Calais, the journey to Paris takes about four hours.

Saturday: Paris (B)
After a breakfast stop on the outskirts of the city, where you can also freshen up, the day begins at Notre Dame Cathedral (admission not included). From here, you'll walk to the iconic Louvre, one of the world's great art museums (admission not included), which is also home to a large underground restaurant complex with great-value foods from around the world. During the afternoon, you'll have time to stroll along the Champs-Élysées and perhaps visit the Eiffel Tower before meeting to check in to your hotel. In the evening, an illuminations tour explores the lights of Paris by night. Start with a visit to Montmartre and the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur with its magnificent views over Paris, discover Pigalle and the Moulin Rouge, then enjoy an evening illuminations tour by coach with a stop to see the Eiffel Tower light show. You'll be back at your hotel late in the evening.
Overnight in Paris
Sunday: Paris - Brighton (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, depart Paris for Versailles where there is a traditional French Sunday market, as well as shops and cafes. The main attraction here is the UNESCO-listed Palace of Versailles, a grand chateau with magnificent gardens built by the Sun King Louis XIV (buy tickets on arrival). You'll leave Versailles to return to the UK after lunch, arriving back in Brighton late on Sunday night.
