Overview
Day 1: Beijing Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you at Beijing Airport and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the rest of the day. Day 2: Beijing (B+L) Full day tour to Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and a Chinese Kung Fu Show. A la carte lunch with Peking duck is served. Day 3: Beijing (B) Visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Round trip cable car is included. Take photo of the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way back to downtown. To leave you more time on the Great Wall, lunch is not included. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel, and a light lunch on your own. At last, visit a local market. Overnight in Beijing: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5-star) - the former Sheraton Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L) Visit the Summer Palace and your guide to trace the old Beijing culture by walking through the original Hutong alleys. Chinese Paper Cutting is included. You will serve you an a la carte lunch at a fancy restaurant. Then take a flight to Xi'an and check in at the hotel. Day 5: Xi'an (B+L+D) Full day tour to the amazing Terracotta Army Museum, A special home cooked lunch at a local family, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the famous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show with the Dumpling Dinner. Overnight in Xi'an: Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5-star) Day 6: Xi'an - Lhasa (B) Take a morning flight to Lhasa and then transfer to the finest local hotel for a good rest to acclimatize the high altitude of 3,650 meters above the sea level. Day 7: Lhasa (B+L) Visit the Norbulingka Park, the Sera Monastery and then the Viewing Platform of Yaowang Hill located on the opposite side of the Potala Palace. Day 8: Lhasa (B+L) Visit the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, the Barkhor Street, as well as a Nunnery. Overnight in Lhasa: Xinding Hotel (4-star) Day 9: Lhasa - Shanghai (B+L) Visit Tibet Museum in the morning. Board an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Your guide will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the reserved hotel for checking in. Day 10: Shanghai (B+L) Full day visit to Shanghai Museum, the Yu Garden and its nearby traditional bazaar, the former French Concession, the Bund, where you will also have a cruise tour along the Huangpu River. A la carte farewell lunch is served. Overnight in Shanghai: Crowne Plaza Century Park Shanghai (5-star) or Similar Day 11: Shanghai (B) Airport drop-off is not included today. Please find your own way to the airport according to your flight schedule.
