Mutianyu Great Wall is located 50 miles (80 km) northeast of Beijing. As one of the famous and best preserved sections of the Great Wall,it was first built in the mid-6th century during the Northern Qi, which is much earlier than the Badaling section. It is connected with Jiankou in the west and Jinshanling in the east.There are 23 towers on the Mutianyu Great Wall snaking the ridge for about 3000 meters.the Mutianyu Great Wall is also famous for the breath-taking beautiful scenery. The woods cover over ninety-six percent of the total scenic area. In October, leaves are turning red or yellow and in winter, the wall is covered by snow, making it seem more magnificent. At Mutianyu section,one is by using the cable car round trip, the second is a chair lift up and toboggan down(second is more fun).You will spend 2-3 hours hiking on the Wall.

The collection has in excess of 200 aircraft of over 100 types and more than 700 examples of weapons and equipment, such as surface to air missiles, antiaircraft artillery, air defense radar, aerial bombs, aerial camera.No ropes, fences or information boards make these aircraft perfect for photographing.The third part of the museum are the aprons, the grass, the corners of the airfield and even the small lake. Here the large aircraft and the helicopters can be found, together with even more fighters.
