Stop first at Lama Temple. Lama Temple is the most impressive Buddhist temple in Beijing. It is the only temple in Beijing to have its own subway stop. Lama Temple ( Yonghe Lamasery ) was built in the 33 Qing Kangxi year (1694) and it is now the largest and best-preserved Lamasery of Yellow Sect in Beijing.

Next, walking through a beautiful street to visit the Temple of Confucius. The temple was built in 1302, and officials used it to pay their respects to Confucius until 1911. From 1981 to 2005,the Temple of Confucius also housed part of the art collection of the Capital Museum. It stands on the Guozijian Street, which is very close to the Imperial Academy.

After seeing two sacred temples, having a fun food journey is a must. Food in China is remarkable and known around the world for its flavor and various types. Enjoy a very local and savory Chinese meal.

Next, you will be taken to the Southern part of Beijing city and getting to the Niujie Mosque, the largest of all the mosques in Beijing. It was first built in 996 during the Liao Dynasty (916-1125). The local Muslim community built the mosque by using the traditional Chinese architecture, with the exception that it displays the Arabic calligraphy in the interior. It was originally designed by Nazaruddin, the son of an imam. After it was destroyed by armies of Genghis Khan in 1215, the Mosque was rebuilt in 1443 in the Ming Dynasty.
