No need to study or find your own way to indulge in the explosion of flavours, smells and spices of Thai cuisine: just follow our path and enjoy. After arriving at one of Bangkok’s two airports, transfer to your Sukhumvit-based accommodation will be the start of a gastronomical 4 days, guided by the team on the ground to sample the finest Thai food. The remainder of the day can be filled in the way you like it but be mindful that for dinner, cruising on the Chao Phraya River is confirmed. Using one of the smaller, converted wooden barges, a greater taste of Thai cuisine with a view to match is not possible. After a well-deserved and good night’s rest, spend most of the morning and part of the afternoon diving deep into the traditional side of Bangkok. Keep the breakfast intake this morning on the low side as sampling local examples of the amazing quality of street food require you to keep an empty stomach. Life for local Thais, passionate about food starts at a local wet market and this morning follows in their footsteps. Fresh fruit, old-style family-run restaurants, street food vendors and much more make your palate explore with everything from sweet to savoury. An authentic Thai lunch of course is included before making the way back to your hotel for a little siesta. The evening is all about Bangkok’s paradise for discerned foodies: dining on dishes along narrow alleys and turning uncharted corners gives a whole new meaning to the pinnacle of street food galore. Eating is one thing but preparing is another. On the third day, a joint Thai cooking class turns the tables. Instead of seeing everything freshly prepared in front of your eyes, it is now your turn to put your cooking skills to the test and serve your version of what’s on the menu. Guided by professional chefs and experts in Thai cuisine, your own creation will be served for lunch with ample assistance provided on this 5-hour gastronomical journey. Cutting, cooking blending and presenting are what’s in store this morning. Rambutti Alley has always been a hot spot for the cool and trendy when it comes to explore new tastes and light eats. Venture into this district near Khao San Road to mingle with the locals for a light meal as you soon find out what’s the food vibe these days in Thailand. The tour through the wonderful flavours of Thai cuisine come to an end on the fourth day with a transfer from your hotel back to the airport to travel back home or to you next destination.

This tour is operated on private transfer basis from and to the starting point but the customers will join with other customers during the dinner cruise on the evening of day 1 and the Thai cooking class on day 3.
As the cooking school is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, it´s possible to change the cooking class to other days to accommodate this tour into your program. The cooking course is operated only in English.
