Day 1 – Bangkok – Sai Yok
We pick you up from central Bangkok and head west for about three hours to Kanachanaburi. Our first stop is a glimpse into the far reaching realm of the Khmer Kingdom. The ruins at Prasat Mueang Sing date back to the 13th and 14th centuries and we cycle between them and visit the small museum. After our visit we cycle on great trails, passing by some teak plantations, as we make our way to the famous Death Railway. We take a break and walk on a scenic section of the railway that is built along a cliff above the River Kwai Noi to visit Krasae Cave. Visiting the cave, once a camp site for the prisoners of war building the railway. Today, the cave is a place of worship with a sitting Buddha statue inside. After our first glimpse of the Death Railway we transfer to our riverside luxury safari tented camp.

Day 2 – Sai Yok Loop
Today we explore the stunning landscape of Kanchanaburi. We start the day with a float downstream on a bamboo raft. This traditional method of transport allows you to see water buffaloes coming to the water's edge and the odd fisherman. Our bikes will be ready for us as we emerge from the cave and off we go through the surrounding countryside. The first part of the ride will be on country lanes and then we'll hit some dirt tracks and great trails through farmland where eggplants and many kinds of Thai herbs are widely grown. We cycle back to our luxury safari tented camp and have the afternoon free to relax.
Accommodation: Hintok River Camp. Ride 17 – 30 km. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

We then transfer to the Kanchanburi War Cemetery around 10 am for the Memorial Wreath Laying Service. The cemetery is the the final resting place of 6,982 Allied POWs who perished during the construction of the Death Railway.
