2-Night Independent Dead Sea Tour from Amman

Your tour includes round-trip transport from Amman and two nights of accommodation at your choice of tourist, prime or superior hotel at the Dead Sea. All activities and entrance fees are at your own expense, but breakfasts and dinners are included.

Expect a sandy beach leading into the mineral-rich waters, plus hotel facilities such as restaurants and bars. Day 1: Amman – Dead Sea (D)
Start your experience in the morning with a pickup from your centrally located Amman hotel. Relax as your air-conditioned minibus whisks you south to the Dead Sea, traveling through stark desert landscapes and wind-carved mountains on a 2-hour journey. When you arrive, enjoy a drop-off at your chosen hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax in any way you want.

Stroll along the beach, admire the desert views and wade into the sea to bob like a cork in the salt-rich waters. Also, grab the chance to enjoy a mud bath in the world’s richest source of natural salts. In the evening, enjoy dinner in your hotel.

Day 2: Dead Sea (B, D)
Enjoy a full day to relax at this unique place at your leisure and own expense. After breakfast, top of the agenda is a ‘swim’ to relish the floating sensation: perhaps take a newspaper and lie back in the waters to recreate the classic Dead Sea pose! Then, lounge by the pool or head for aspa to sample the luxurious treatments on offer. Many of these utilize the mud and natural minerals of the Dead Sea, known for their therapeutic qualities. Enjoy a tingling seaweed wrap, melt into a massage or refresh your senses with an invigorating scrub (own expense).

Later, why not venture out to see more of this stunning region? Head to the nearby Dead Sea Panorama Complex (own expense), perched high above the Dead Sea waters. Explore the Dead Sea geological museum, linger over lunch (own expense) at the onsite restaurant and marvel at the dizzying views over the waters far below; it’s hard to believe the viewpoint is at sea level! In the evening, simply return to your hotel in time for dinner.

Day 3: Dead Sea – Amman (B)
After breakfast, devote the time left this morning to one last float in the Dead Sea or a final energizing spa treatment. Later in the morning, board your air-conditioned minibus for your return journey to Amman and finish your tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
