You will meet your guide and group at the Vatican at 7:30am ready to explore this fascinating city state. You will enter at 8am ahead of the general public enjoying a much less crowded museum! Your guide will expertly guide your group through the highlights of the extensive galleries with their many stunning works of art. You will also learn all about the history of the Vatican and the Catholic church. From here you will proceed to the unmissable Sistine Chapel. You will be blown away by Michelangelo's masterpiece. From here you will enjoy skip the line access from Sisitne Chapel to St Peter's Basilica through a special passageway. Your guide will talk you through also this amazing cathedral and its mindblowing art and architecture.
You will have a break for lunch and more site-seeing (if you're feeling brave!) and at 1:00 PM you will rejoin with your group for your tour of Ancient Rome. You can choose the option to have an express visit (approx. 2 hours) of just the Colosseum or to extend your visit to include two of the other mosr important sites of Ancient Rome- the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Whatever you choose you will enter the Colosseum with skip the line access directly onto the arena of the Colosseum (a resteicted area) and be accompanied by another expert guide!

A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
A current valid passport or ID document is required on the day of the tour for children under 18 as proof of age
St. Peter's Basilica is a Church and as such the Vatican can decide to close it for religious functions without any notice. Local operator is not responsible for unexpected closure of the Basilica. If the Basilica closed for religious functions, you'll spend more time in the Vatican galleries with your guide
Please be aware that to enter the Colosseum it is necessary to pass a metal detector security check. Visitors cannot avoid these checks. Even though skip the line tickets are purchased in advance, local operator is not responsible for time spent waiting to pass security checks
